THE IMAGINED BRIEF
What would the visitor need?
An imagined residential development needs to help future residents compare layouts, understand surroundings and know which information is verified.
ZX7 / SELF-INITIATED WEBSITE CASE STUDY
What exists is this functioning editorial website prototype, its page hierarchy, original illustration assets and tested interactions. The residential property brand, project details and proposed business are imagined. This is not commissioned client work.
THE IMAGINED BRIEF
An imagined residential development needs to help future residents compare layouts, understand surroundings and know which information is verified.
THE CORE IDEA
Lead with places and floor-plan questions instead of pressure tactics or unsupported return-on-investment promises.
DESIGN DECISION · 01 / A useful collection
Residence overview gives clear entrances to separate floor-plan stories instead of presenting every home as an interchangeable hero tile.
DESIGN DECISION · 02 / Visual orientation
Original architectural diagrams create spatial context while avoiding photos that might imply a completed, available property.
DESIGN DECISION · 03 / Neighbourhood in context
A separate page makes local information a deliberate decision point, with imaginary descriptions clearly disclosed.
DESIGN DECISION · 04 / Careful enquiry
The contact demonstration avoids invented availability, discounts, approvals or possession dates.
ACROSS DEVICES
On mobile the layouts prioritise readable room and property distinctions, then invite deeper plan exploration; desktop affords more space for imagery and side-by-side thinking.
TEST NEXT
Observe prospective buyers completing plan-comparison tasks. A real estate launch must validate plans, permissions, amenity claims, location facts and legal disclosures with the developer.
THE HONEST BOUNDARY
No genuine development, property inventory, pricing, approved plans, buyer data or verified regulatory claims. This is a front-end prototype, not a record of client work or business outcomes.
