ZX7 DESIGN STUDY / FICTIONAL ARCHITECTURE PRACTICE — NO REAL PROJECTS OR CLIENTS CLAIMEDAbout this study

ZX7 / ORIGINAL STUDIO CONCEPT / CASE STUDY 001

A website,
not a poster.

This website exists to demonstrate what a complete architectural digital experience can feel like, not to claim an architectural commission.

Built by ZX7 Advertising for an imagined practice. All projects and the practice identity are fictional.

01 / The problem

Most demo portfolios stop at the first screen. They cannot show how someone would explore projects, understand an approach, read useful detail and reach a credible next step. The task was to design the complete journey, while keeping the fictional nature of the brand unmistakable.

02 / The response

A quiet editorial system with warm mineral surfaces, deep botanical ink and image-led layouts. The architecture practice has a project index with filters, three distinct full case pages, a studio page, original journal writing and an enquiry prototype. Users can navigate with or without JavaScript.

Studio concept: independent, fictional work.

The imagined brief: give an architecture practice a complete digital place to explain projects, approach and material thinking, without pretending that invented buildings have been commissioned or constructed.

03 / The design decisions

Original vector architectural studies replace stock imagery, avoiding false evidence of built work. Warm mineral surfaces give the practice a calm point of view. A filtered project index and three long-form case pages encourage exploration rather than forcing everything into a gallery. The journal and studio routes provide context before the visitor reaches a deliberately non-sending enquiry demonstration.

04 / Across devices

On phones, projects read in a single clear sequence, navigation becomes a disclosure menu, and text remains legible without hover. On larger screens, illustrations and editorial copy share a deliberate grid. Navigation and case-study content stay available without JavaScript.

05 / What we would test next

Give architecture buyers an imagined brief and ask them to find the approach, compare two projects, and locate the enquiry. Observe their route on phone and desktop, check keyboard and screen-reader use, and replace any confusing project labels. A real project would require the practice to supply verified work and permission to publish.

06 / What works

Real URLs, navigation, filter state, accessible mobile menu, enquiry validation and local preview, keyboard focus, reduced-motion styling, responsive typography and unambiguous studio disclosures. There is no server, real enquiry inbox, production analytics or architectural project record behind this demonstration.

07 / Editorial material

The site uses first-party original SVG architectural studies instead of third-party photographs. These are fictional visualizations, not built architecture or commissioned photography. No claim of trademark clearance for the invented name has been made.
